Ferrari supercar left mangled mess after landing on its roof in Woodhead Pass crash

A supercar worth an estimated GBP250,000 was left a mangled mess after it overturned in a crash. The luxury Ferrari flipped onto its roof after the smash on the Woodhead Pass that connects Sheffield to Greater Manchester on Saturday. Officers said it was one of a number of crashes on the winding rural route as heavy rain swept across the region.

Officers in Derbyshire shared pictures of the car on its roof and badly damaged and of it on the back of a recovery truck. It is believed the yellow coloured car is a 488 Pista model, which normally change hands for over GBP250,000.

The car is estimated to be worth around GBP250,000

In a post on Twitter, Derbyshire Police's High Peak Response uni said: "An expensive trip up the #WoodheadPass today for this driver. "One of a number of reported collisions today across the #HighPeak."

Motorists had been warned to ensure they drove to the conditions with further bouts of heavy rain leaving standing water and roads wet in places.
