Friends and family create this A34 shrine after girl, 17, killed in lorry crash

A 17-year-old student has lost her fight for life after being seriously injured in a horror smash with a lorry. The teenager - who has yet to be named by police - was travelling in a car when it was in collision with the HGV. Two other teenagers in the car were also seriously injured and taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

It is understood that the lorry driver did not require hospital treatment. Now a shrine - featuring dozens of floral tributes, messages and photographs - has been created near the crash scene.
