Head of Sales – Marshall Mercedes Benz Truck & Van, Fareham, Hampshire

Join a Great Place to Work(R) and lead sales activities across our Mercedes Benz Truck & Van division The Role We are seeking an experienced Head of Vehicle Sales to join Marshall's Mercedes-Benz Truck and Van division and lead a team of sales professionals selling new retail, fleet truck & LCV vehicles & all makes used trucks & LCV across our network.

Reporting to our Head of Truck and Van, you will carefully manage the relationship with our brand partners Mercedes Benz Truck, Mercedes Benz LCV and Fuso. This role has the flexibility to be based anywhere within our truck and van division (South coast). What is the Head of Sales responsible for?

  • Leading and motivating a team of sales professionals to ensure all sales opportunities are maximised in both existing and new markets
  • Managing relationships with brand partners and where appropriate with key customers
  • Working closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure products are marketed for maximum market penetration
  • Strategically assess sales processes to ensure they are continually reviewed and refined
  • Ensure adequate supply of new and used retail stock to achieve monthly sales objectives

What experience do I need?

To be successful in this role, you will have an in depth knowledge of sales in both the truck and LCV markets, ideally within the geography of our business. You will also have proven experience in building and leading a successful team. In addition to your previous experience, the key attributes we look for are:
