Coronation Street first look as giant sinkhole brings terror to the cobbles

Here’s a glimpse of the terror set to hit the cobbles next week as giant sinkhole appears in a garden. Shockwaves suddenly and unexpectedly ripple through Coronation Street at the most unexpected of times. The Platt household is probably one of the most feared addresses, after all it previously concealed the body of drug dealer Callum Logan, and next week the bottom falls out of David’s world, literally.

When smitten David discovers from Nina Lucas that his wife Shona is planning to leave because she thinks he hates her he decides to arrange a barbecue to persuade her to stay.

The barbecue is ruined

Shona and Nina join David, his daughter Lily, his sister Sarah and neighbour Sally Webster for the barbecue, when suddenly there’s an almighty crash and a huge crater appears in the middle of the garden. Everyone gazes into the hole, completely stunned.
