Paradise Carriage returns to Whatley Manor

Whatley Manor is bringing back its hugely successful Paradise Carriage for this month’s lockdown. The quirky graffiti-covered food truck, positioned in the parking area of Whatley Manor, is a casual drive-by takeaway showcasing a fun, seasonal, informal menu from Executive Chef Niall Keating. Dishes will include starters such as crispy beef with sweet chilli, spring onion and coriander, main courses such as Pulled pork bao bun with spiced slaw and sriracha mayo and desserts including Plum frangipane with cr?me fraiche.

On Sundays, there will a roast option, as well as pizza slices. Opening times are Wednesday – Saturday from 4pm – 8pm (last orders) and Sunday from 1pm – 8pm. Food can be ordered in advance by ringing 01666-822 888, or on arrival at Paradise Carriage.

Embracing the festive season, and serving the local Cotswold community, Whatley Manor will open a ‘pop-up shop’ on the grounds of the hotel, within one of its large greenhouses. Kicking off from Wednesday and open through the build-up to Christmas, the shop will provide speciality and essential food items, including local beef (joints and various cuts), Ib?rico ham, sausage rolls, Scotch eggs and pork pies, cheese (such as truffled Tamworth), milk and eggs (from a local farm), homemade bread and cakes, Whatley Manor honey, and local chutneys from Tracklements. Limited edition ‘Restless’ Salcombe gin, made in collaboration with Niall Keating, will be available, along with a selection of wine and local beers.

The shop will also offer a variety of seasonal plants, Christmas wreaths, stocking fillers, and a range of wellness and spa products.

The shop will be open Wednesday – Saturday from 3pm – 8pm, and Sunday from 1pm – 8pm.
