Man dies after crash involving van, HGV and 4×4

A man has died following a crash involving a van, HGV and 4×4 near to the A40. Police confirmed the van driver, who was aged in his 20s, died at the scene of the collision on the A361 near Burford in Oxfordshire. Another man, aged in his 50s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

People inside the 4×4 were uninjured. Thames Valley Police officers are now appealing for dashcam footage of the fatal smash, which happened at around 7.40am on December 9 between Burford and Lechlade, near the hamlet of Signet. Investigating officer, PC Sandra Terry, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who has died at this very difficult time.
