‘Beautiful’ woman, 27, killed in horror M6 lorry crash pictured as friends pay tribute – Daily Star

A young woman who tragically died in a horror crash with a lorry on the M6 has been named. Beth Malpass was pronounced dead at the scene after her red MG3 collided with a white HGV truck. The 27-year-old was near Cannock, Staffs, at about 1am on Saturday, January 23, when the collision occurred.
Her heartbroken family have asked for privacy during this difficult time and Staffordshire Police confirmed they’re being supported by specialist officers. On behalf of the family, the force released a picture of Beth, who lived in Dudley, BirminghamLive reports. Beth’s friends have paid tribute to her on Facebook, with one describing her as “one of the most beautiful people inside and out.”

In a Facebook post, Shelley Louise Wright said: “It was an honour to have known you Beth.
“You were without doubt one of the most beautiful people inside and out I have ever known. “Sleep tight angel my thoughts are with your family right now.” Another said: “She honestly didn’t have a bad bone in her body, such a shame, RIP Beth xx”

R.I.P” “Can’t believe it Beth, my thoughts are with your family. So sad,” said a fourth on Twitter.
Police closed the carriageway, close to junction 11a, for a number of hours while emergency services worked at the scene. Sadly, Beth lost her life. The driver was not injured in the collision and police are now appealing for more information about the crash.

In a statement, a spokesman for the force said: “Witnesses who may have seen the vehicles before the collision or anyone with relevant dashcam footage can contact officers from the Staffordshire and West Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit by messaging Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 33 of 23 January or calling 101.”
