Free wine tasting truck coming to the Albert Dock this weekend

A wine-tasting truck will be coming to Liverpool’s Albert Dock this weekend. Loire Valley Wines is preparing to bring its free wine-tasting truck tour to the city this weekend. The stunning truck is currently embarking on a tour of four UK cities, with its second stop being Liverpool.

Rooftop winter village returning to Liverpool this Christmas Having already visited London, the tour will also take place in Bristol and Manchester over the upcoming weeks. The Loire Wine truck offers free walk-in wine tastings for anyone who wishes to sample some of Loire Valley’s best wines.

The free event comes as part of the ‘Loire Bucket List’ which has gone live for September. The bucket list initiative offers an interactive map to various ‘secret’ places across the city, complete with six different venues that have partnered with Loire Valley Wines. The month-long event allows people to rediscover their city, while exploring Loire Wines through free samples, social media competitions, and fully guided tasting sessions.

Vote Liverpool in the competition to find the UK’s Favourite Place Six different venues across Liverpool are taking part in the event, offering exclusive dishes and wine offers. In the city centre, Queen Bistro, R&H Fine Wines, The Pen Factory, and City Wine Bar & Kitchen are all participating, adding speciality wines to their menus.

Over in Oxton, restaurant Fraiche is on the list, as well as Vin Santo located in Chester. The Loire Wine truck will be situated outside the MLK building at Albert Dock, on Saturday, September 4 and Sunday, September 5. Organisers have advised that the wine-tastings will be first come first served.
