Overturned truck pulled from side of notoriously dangerous road

An overturned car was plucked from hedges on one of Gloucestershire’s most notorious roads today (September 9). A pickup truck was seen being hauled out of a ditch on the side of ‘Seven Bends Road’ near Tewkesbury, more formally known as the B4079. The road is known to locals as being a dangerous route to drive on.

And in 2019, one woman told Gloucestershire Live that she had seen the aftermath of eight crashes on the B4079 road in a space of four months.

The mum-of-two said her children’s father was killed in a road traffic collision and she worried the route could cause another fatality.
