Road shut and trains disrupted after lorry hits bridge

Roads and rail services in Mid Wales have been thrown into chaos after a tipper truck struck railway bridge. The accident has shut the A487 on the outskirts of Machynlleth. Motorists are being forced to take long diversions, with nearby Llanwrin Road also closed to large vehicle due to roadworks.
