A bicycle deliveryman and a pedestrian were both dragged and killed by a box truck after it mounted an Upper East Side sidewalk on Friday in a Christmas Eve double tragedy.

The deadly crash occurred at Third Avenue and East 61st Street around 9:30 am.

The driver of a Baldor specialty foods truck had been traveling westbound on East 61st Street when the driver jumped the curb, before striking the victims and a fire hydrant.

A witness who works across the street from the scene of the accident told the New York Daily News that a Good Samaritan tried in vain to save the blonde-haired pedestrian.

‘The lady, she was doing CPR,’ said the witness, who the Daily News identified only as Mike.

‘And the delivery guy, he didn’t move.’

Neither of the two victims were immediately identified.

Meanwhile, the box truck driver reportedly remained at the scene and has been questioned, according to the Daily News.

The NYPD said an investigation into the fatal crash remains ongoing.

Aaron Primitivo, 27, a DoorDash deliveryman who happened upon the scene, told the outlet that the fatal collision made him question his safety while on the job and rethink his line of work.

‘I’ve barely been doing this a month, but seeing this takes away the desire to do it,’ he said.

‘You never know when the same thing can happen to you.’
