M4 slip road closed due to raging large lorry fire
A large lorry fire is raging on a M4 slip road this evening (January 10). The exit road at junction 17 for Chippenham and Cirencester is shut on the M4 westbound. The lorry is carrying hay, which is fuelling the blaze and likely to make it difficult to put out.

The agency said: “#M4 westbound exit sliproad at J17 (#Chippenham #Cirencester) is closed due to a large lorry fire. The lorry was transporting hay so we expect the fire to take some effort to put out.
