Wannabe racers have their cars seized after failing to notice following police
TWO cars were hauled onto the back of a tow truck and taken away from their owners. Officers in Blackpool were alerted to the vehicles, which appeared to be racing, on Sunday while on patrol. And despite being right behind them in a fully liveried BMW, the drivers were concentrating so much on their race that they failed to notice they were being followed by the police.
A spokesman said: “The drivers of these two cars in Blackpool were too busy racing each other to notice the fully liveried Police BMW behind them recording their every move.
“Both drivers reported and both cars seized under section 59 due to the manner in which they were being driven.”
