Three people injured after car collides with truck on A283

Two people were taken to hospital after a truck collided with a car on the A283 near Upper Beeding. Emergency services were called to the incident near the Old Cement Works at about 8.40am yesterday morning (May 18). Police have confirmed three people were injured after a pick-up truck towing a digger collided with a car.

Officers say two people were taken to hospital for treatment. The road was closed in both directions while officers investigated the circumstances of the incident. Sussex Police is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident.
