Two-vehicle crash sees car plough into garden wall in Flintshire

Emergency services were called to Flintshire this morning after a two-vehicle crash saw a car plough into a wall. Shortly before 11.45am today (May 10), North Wales Police received reports of an RTC on Mold Road, Mynydd Isa. A NWP spokesperson said the incident involved a silver Toyota C-HR and a black Audi A7.

The Toyota was reportedly in collision with the Audi before ploughing into a garden wall along the busy stretch of the A549. : Biker suffers life threatening injuries in crash with ambulance on 999 call Eyewitnesses at the scene reported delays as officers attended the location, along with an ambulance and fire crews.

The road was blocked while the vehicle was recovered but NWP said no injuries were reported. Images captured by a member of the public show a silver vehicle which appears to have mounted the pavement before colliding with the garden wall of a house on the residential street. The crash occurred close to the Griffin Inn pub on Mold Road, close to the junction with Rose Lane.

It caused some delays for motorists in the area, due to emergency services attending and a recovery truck blocking the road for a period.

The vehicle was removed shortly after 1pm and the road was reopened.
