Village Co-op ram-raided overnight by four men in a truck

FOUR men used a truck to ram-raid a Co-op store in a West Berkshire village. They got away in another car after burgling the Newbury Road in Hermitage at 1.40am this morning (May 2). The group used a Toyota Hilux, registration beginning FE07, to break into the store.

: West Berkshire food shop closed off by police after raid Te then left in the Hilux and another car with the registration beginning RK07 and headed towards Yattendon. All of the offenders were wearing gloves and had their faces covered.

One offender was wearing a blue hoodie with letters on the front. Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Stuart Streeter, based at Newbury police station said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed or knows anything about this incident to please come forward. : Slough man raided Co-op stores in Pangbourne and Abingdon
