Plume of smoke rises as firefighters tackle MK industrial blaze
Dozens of firefighters are at the scene of a fire on a Milton Keynes industrial estate today (Saturday, July 16). The blaze started with a lorry and has now spread to a ‘commercial unit’ and trailer units on Bransworth Avenue in the Brinklow area. A large plume of smoke is visible from surrounding areas.
Firefighters have received multiple calls from concerned people living nearby. A Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Five appliances and crews, and one officer in attendance. Thames Valley Fire Control is receiving multiple calls to the incident as a large smoke plume is visible from the Monks Hill, Kingston and Kents Hill areas.
